This is what my room looked like when I walked in:
The pictures don't completely show how much is boxed up on the back counter. There are LOTS of tubs full of stuff. All of the stuff was piled up 3 feet on the back shelf. I had to move bookcases, reload the bookcases with math manipulatives, sort chapter books, put the books into baskets, and clean everything as I went.
Three hours later it looks like this:
I got a lot accomplished, but I have a LONG way to go. Back to the school tomorrow! For all those people who think that teachers' have the summer off, I present cleaning and organizing my room during my off-contract time. No, our rooms don't magically look kid-friendly and organized! That is simply not the case!!
